Yes, I was just as surprised as you are. Ed Norton has gone green! I guess it is becoming the IN thing to do. But Ed has been green since 2003. For instance, when he had his solar panels installed on his home, he thought it would be a good idea to team up with a company and install the same system onto a house of a low-income family in Sunny Southern California.
He started working with BP, the Enterprise Foundation and the Environmental Media Association, to create the BP Solar Neighbors Program. This program will donate a solar electricity system to a low-income family each time a celebrity installs one on their home.
Wow, double whammy! So of course, the nice celebs, like Will Ferrell, Robin Williams, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Ed Begley Jr., Jack Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, Daryl Hannah, Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman all decided to do it. That is a lot of celebs!
Que lindo that they are doing something for their community!
