A Night to Remember

I remember the anticipation of being in high school and looking forward to the most important dance of the year: the prom. What was I gonna wear ? The dress was to be the best and unlike any others. In todays economy what are parents to do when their daughter they have is approaching this milestone, but have no money to purchase the perfect dress? Well, there are organizations (like the “Cinderella Project”) who collect and refurbish dresses to be given to young ladies. They make sure the girls are given a dress as well as shoes and accessories. The girls are given several dresses to choose from and are even escorted by a “fairy godmother” to help with the selection. So, the next time you are asked to participate in a wedding and know you’ll never wear the dress again, think of the upside: you can donate it and make someone live happily ever after!
