Cause I'm Back in Black...

Now for the latest inspiration to hit the fashion runways….La  Amy Winehouse? Perdon, como? Apparently so, amigas. Thanks to Miss Winehouse's gravity-defying beehive, mod, big hair was all over the fashion runways. Gone is the stick straight hair and untouchable blow-out; muchahchas, put the straightener down! Big, sexy and textured hair ruled on the runway and has been all over the coveted London hipster scene. One of the best and super-facil  ways of getting those beachy waves is to spritz your locks with some John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Spray. It's highly effective in helping you get that "just-got-back-from-the-most-fantastic-beach-fiesta-that-y'all-WISH-you-coulda-been-invited-to" beachy hair. Plus, spray smells like coco delicioso!

Along with the abundance of big hair, vienen los ojos obscures; dark, dark, DARK eyes swathed in heavily applied black liner and gray shadow.  Flushed cheeks, flawless-looking skin and innocent looking berry-stained lips will also be ruling the fashion world in a very short time.
What are you supposed to pair all of this with? Obviously Amy's signature short shorts weren't on the fall runways, but the color black ruled from top to bottom. That's right, black will be making a major comeback with a vengeance. Everything from pants, to sheer tops to shoes looked like they belonged on Mr. Johnny Cash himself. Even the classic "Little Black Dress" has been revamped into funkier cuts and unique textures. Those good, old-fashioned opaque black tights that keep your piernitas bien calientitas are also making an appearance, and will have a place in your wardrobe all autumn long.
So, take a cue from Amy's bouffant, her ass-kicking soulfulness and heavily rimmed cat-eyes and rock your own version of the look. (Just stay away from the crack and all that other bad stuff she's known for doing!)
