Colorful Colombia

The first thing I noticed about the pictures I saw of the streets of Colombia, were the colors! I personally love color and the way they make you feel. From the very first picture I saw, I felt happy. The streets are lined with red, green and blue shutters and doors. Even the buses are usually painted in a wide array of colors. So, I say: if a place makes you feel happy, then it should definitely be visited.
According to Lonelyplanet.com, even though the media is reporting that there are still rows of coca fields and violent crime, travelers are often left to wonder how a country with so many problems, can still appear so normal?
It goes on to say that Colombia has the best health care and universities in all of South America. So if you get sick while visiting this beautiful, colorful country, you can feel safe knowing that there are great doctors around.
Oh, it also goes without saying that the nightlife is awesome! Hey, the best dance music comes from the Colombianos. Don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes; their vibrant beats will make you swing your hips and kick up your heels.
Typically, Colombia is inexpensive for travelers. You can have a comfortable vacation on $25 to $45 a day. If you want to have an all-inclusive resort vacation, there are resorts along the Caribbean coast that have an average cost of $125 a night, per couple!
