When you say the words "Disneyland" a smile magically appears on your face. It doesn't matter if you are a child or an adult, you automatically feel joy and I myself am one of those people. The anticipation was on high alert for Disney goers for the upcoming attractions and for their amazing parade for this Summer of 2011. I was super excited to be invited to experience this first hand and to be able to share it with you.
Last year when I attended the grand opening of the World of Color at the California Adventure Park, I heard a rumor about the Little Mermaid ride being in the works! So leave it Disneyland to create the beloved animated cartoon and make it come alive! As you jump in to your pink clam shell your off on an adventure. Hearing all of my favorite songs brought memories of my childhood. As I looked around I could see everyone singing along. Just seeing that was so awesome! Because no matter what age you are memories last a life time!
Disney has always been great about their Audio-Animatronic figures within the park, but I have to say that watching the Audio-Animation for the Little Mermaid was pretty impressive. They seem so life like and you could almost think that Ariel had come to life. It was an amazing to experience this awesome adventure ride.
So after riding the Little Mermaid ride I jetted over to the newly revamped Star Tours ride. I have always been a huge Star Wars fan! I hope you can imagine how super excited I was to ride this baby! When I was told that it featured more than 50 different story combination's, and that it is in 3D, I got a "woo wee" feeling! Every time you ride it you will have a different adventure, and you’ll never get bored watching the same thing over and over again. Great thinking Disneyland! This definitely is a "must do" when you come to Disneyland! You’ll come out feeling that you were part of the Star Wars saga.
For every season a Disneyland parade is created; you can see the excitement and anticipation by watching all the people parked on the curb down Main Street waiting and the Summer Sensation parade is no exception! This has been one of my favorite daytime parades! It was so much fun to watch because of the upbeat music, nine themed floats, and dancing was AWESOME!!! I can’t wait to be able to take my nephews to experience this year’s Disneyland Summer Sensation. It is something I’m truly looking forward to experiencing again!
