En El Piso ¡No!

Cuantas de ustedes cometieron el error de poner la bolsa en el piso de jovensitas solamente para escuchar a mami, tía, o abuela decir, “En el piso no!” I first heard those words years ago, desde niña I knew that was a big no-no.
Superstitions tell us it’s bad luck for a few reasons; it’s bad luck to set your purse down on the floor because it holds our money. Setting the purse on the dirty floor can symbolize we’re holding it low and some cultures have been said to find it as a form of disrespect, and doing so sets us up for the loss or lack of money. Do we really need that in a recession ladies? Along with our money, our purse carries some very important things in our lives; along with unnecessary things, we carry “just in case”. A fan of big purses myself, I am guilty of toting around everything from my wallet, my iPod, makeup, and even my addiction… my Blackberry (& I know I‘m not the only crack berry addict). I definitely don’t want all of these things exposed to the floor, or out of my sight!
I have discovered cute little hooks that are the solution to our problem; they keep your bolsa off the ground! Available in different styles, personalized to the owner’s taste. They’re cute and compact; they’re a paperweight type concept, though much lighter, it has a small hook that holds your purse from the corner of a table. It’s perfect for the office, your desk, the table at a restaurant or even the station where you are getting your manicure! Now our purses are not on the ground and free from bad luck. Invest in these ladies! It’s a small price to pay to being cursed with mala suerte and bad fortune with the funds; I know I can afford the hook, but not the bad luck!
