Wii Sports Resorts

Two weeks ago I was called by Jose, The Latino Cyber Guy, to review the new Wii Sports Resort video game on the Univision morning show. I was very nervous; ok I was terribly nervous, but nevertheless it was a fun experience playing the game first hand.
If you have a Wii you need to go out and buy this game! It currently retails for $49.99 and includes the Sports Resort game and the Wii motion plus accessory. The new accessory is attached to your controller and it creates a more responsive and realistic playing experience. This is a major improvement from the original Wii Sports game. I felt that with the new motion plus accessory my movements were more precise and swift. I especially liked how different games required me to use different body motions, where as before I could get away with a few simple wrist movements.
There are a total of 12 games: archery, basketball, bowling, golf, table tennis, Swordplay, Air Sports, canoeing, cycling, Frisbee®, Power Cruising and wakeboarding. Here are some of my top picks:
- Archery- Requires the nunchuk, but I enjoyed creating the pulling motion of the bow and arrow, it felt realistic.
- Cycling- This one really works out your arms, you have to keep up the continuous motion of pedaling.
- Basketball- One of my favorites, it feels just like the basketball shooting games at Chuky Cheese.
