How do you feel about the iPad? I personally think it’s a neat gadget, but am I going to run out and get it? Probably not! In fact… NO! However, if it were free, I would take it in a heartbeat! I like gadgets and anything new, but at some point, I need to take stock of everything I own and really ask myself, do I need this? Can I justify paying $499 plus tax on a gadget I don’t really need? The answer is NO.

Step into my shoes, I own a blackberry, a regular laptop for home, and a mini dell I use for traveling and school. Media and internet is never out of my reach, so the iPad would really just be unnecessary. I won’t deny the iPad has several nifty specs, I like that it has the ability to download books.However, right now I have more than enough real textbooks on my plate! For those of you who perhaps don’t own as many gadgets, and have cash to burn I recomend you try it out.
