Muchachas, listen to my advice. When you’re on a date with a guy, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT talk about your Ex, no matter what, even if your date asks you about him. Just tell him it’s a topic that you’re not interested in talking about, and that you have moved on. If you do start talking about your Ex it could lead him to believe that you’re not over him, and you could get really emotionally messy. That’s one side of you don’t want him to see…well, at least not quite yet.
The same goes for you: don’t ask him about his Ex-girlfriend…it could lead to trouble, and you might get the wrong idea of what type of person he is and get discouraged. Every relationship is different. What might have not worked with him and that other girl could, on the other hand, work great for you. Before going on a date, get ready! What I mean is, make sure to know what questions you want to know regarding him, (i.e. work, activities, friends, family, etc.). Don’t be afraid to ask questions, but makes sure they are the appropriate questions. Men like it when you show that you’re interest in getting to know them. Just don’t overdo it.
