Doreen Garcia is the Executive Director of Casa De Las Amigas, a place for women, whose primary problem is substance abuse and/or alcoholism,
This facility is a 24-hour alcohol and drug residential treatment center. Casa de las Amigas offers hope for women to help rebuild their lives. The programs can vary from 30-90 days, with only voluntary admissions accepted.

They offer three programs:

      Primary treatment program:

Is when women begin to work on their personal needs and goals with counselors.

Out patient program: is a treatment designed to give substance abusers the knowledge and structure to allow them to be free from drugs and alcohol long term.

      Casita-Sober living:

Is for women who are in more need than others.  The have  an opportunity to remain at Casita for up to 12 additional months. During this time, they can begin to look for employment and continue treatments.

      Casa De Las Amigas:

Needs help from the community to keep their doors open and continue to reach out to women. They are very accepting of different types of gifts.

On-line donations are convenient, and any amount will help. Many of the women have very few resources when they arrive for their treatment. You may also give donations in honor of someone else.

Buy a brick! This is a unique way of making a donation. As a thank you for your donation, an engraved brick will be placed in the Casa garden where everyone can see and enjoy.

Casa De Las Amigas also accepts supplies, such as:

Towels and linens, beauty supplies, personal hygiene products etc.

All information can be found on Casa De las Amigas website or at 160 North El Molino Ave., Pasadena, Ca 91101. #(323)-661-8304
