Twilight Fans Estan Locos

New Moon opened in theaters two weeks ago to breaking numbers. Fans from around the country gathered up their things and headed over to their local theater to witness the AMAZINGLY EPIC movie that is New Moon.

Everyone and their mother went to see this damn movie… I wouldn’t be surprised if my own madre was secretly a fan and trying to get Taylor Lautner to sign her panties! (HE’S 17 MOM! STAY AWAY FROM HIM!)

But the story isn’t about how “AMAZING”  and “LIFE CHANGING” this movie is… nope. Well apart from the fact that it’s not an AMAZING and LIFE CHANGING movie (complete opposite).

It’s about the crazy pseudo fans that this franchise has created.

“Fans” or as I like to call them… CRAZIES… had been lining up as early as Thursday, Nov. 12th… the film didn’t come out until the 20th ok? ¿No me creen?

¿En serio? Don’t these people have jobs? Lives? I mean to camp out for a damn movie premiere? Really? Especially when critics have panned the movie they “love”? Oh yeah! Didn’t you read the reviews? Every single review on the movie was a disaster!

I guess, I mean I suppose, they called off work or something and I’m guessing they used mental illness as an excuse, because that’s the only excuse justifiable for this type of shenanigan.

Did I mention the horrible reviews this movie got? No? Let’s break ‘em down shall we?

Chicago Sun-Times' Roger Ebert says: "the characters in this movie should be arrested for loitering with intent to moan. Never have teenagers been in greater need of a jump-start. Granted some of them are more than 100 years old, but still: their charisma is by Madame Tussaud."

Ty Burr of The Boston Globe remarks: "Sorry, girls: The thrill is gone."

"When he's onscreen, Pattinson’s Edward is all emo posturing under a trembling bouffant - the actor suddenly seems to be embarrassed to be here," says Burr. "Lautner's performance, by contrast, has the warmth of an actual human."

Rolling Stone gave the movie 2 out of 5 stars saying, “Swooning tweens of all ages and sexes will work themselves into a lather deciding whether to join Team Edward (that's sometimes-shirtless vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson) or Team Jacob (that's perpetually shirtless werewolf Jacob Black, played by Taylor Lautner). Sign me up for Team Confused, since this is now the second film in Stephenie Meyer's four-book Twilight saga that fails to ignite the flame of Meyer's overheated prose.”

Y ahi lo tienen…por si a caso quieren ir a ver esa porqueria de pelicula…

All in all, this franchise will never die, and neither will the crazy pandemonium behind it. DEAR LAWD!
