Sultry Sofia Vergara Is Strutting On Stage and Screen

Latina stunner, Sofia Vergara, is working extremely hard on her crossover into the English market. In the past, she’s made a few forgettable movies in English (“Chasing Papi”, anyone?) had bit parts in television shows, and even briefly dated Tom Cruise, but she never really garnered the attention that she’s getting now. She recently wrapped up her stint on the famous musical “Chicago”, managing to amaze everyone with her singing and dancing abilities (who knew?) and even managed to land a leading role on ABC’s latest comedy, “Modern Family”.
In it, she plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, the trophy esposa to Ed O’ Neil’s (remember Al Bundy?) character. She is definitely one of my favorite parts of the show due to her comedic timing and I love that she’s not necessarily playing a stereotypical Latina role…sure, she may be the sexpot on the show that everyone seems to drool over, but I really don’t think the poor girl is at fault for that, right? Check her out and the rest of the hilarious cast on Wednesday on ABC at 9:00p.m.
