Kelis? More like Cha-Ching!

Kelis “Milkshake” Rogers and Nas have finally reached a divorce settlement after she filed for divorce in April of 2009(citing irreconcilable differences). According to sources, Nas left the part-Latina, Kelis, penniless for months y no pago ni un centavo of the prenatal expenses. Shortly after the July birth of their baby boy, Knight, a judge ordered Nas to pay $55,000 a month in spousal and child support, the mortgage on the Los Angeles home the two shared, and approximately $35,000 for Kelis’ lawyers. Kelis was also awarded enough funds to pay for the prenatal and medical expenses (along with a brand-new baby nurse) that Nas hadn’t paid for in the past.
No one is really sure as to why the couple broke up, but there were quite a number or chismes going around, including infidelity (both by Kelis and Nas) and an alleged sex tape that Kelis made in the past with rapper, Infrared. Who knows and who cares, as long as baby Knight’s best interest in at heart, right?
