Hennessy Heads West with Lauded ‘Artistry’ Events as it Preps for 2009 Latin Grammys

The band best known for their genre-bending fusion of eletro, Latin rock, ska and hip-hop headlined the latest series of Hennessy Privilege VSOP “Artistry” events in Los Angeles and San Jose.
The “Artistry” celebration kicked off at the exclusive ultra-luxe loftSEVEN Penthouse located in the new pulse of Southern Cali---Downtown Los Angeles. The invite-only crowd savored innovative Hennessy blended cocktails in the chic surroundings while enjoying a decadent mix of old and new Latin groves from DJ Frankie Needles (official Latin Grammy DJ, MUN2, etc.) and LA’s top turntablists, Descarga DJs’ Loslito and Mando Fever. Everyone was in awe from the spectacular rooftop views from this modern design gem as they waited for Maleco Collective to hit the stage.
The San Jose “Artistry” event will begin where Los Angeles left off. The celebration continued at the beautiful Landmark Ballroom. Once again, DJ Frankie Needles, along with the Bay Area’s finest, DJ Sake 1, were on the boards spinning the best Latin and urban tunes as they heated up the spot for Maleco Collective. A special component to this event was the involvement of Teatro Vision, who served as a community partner and recipient of a charitable donation from Hennessy.
