Conan O’Brien Spends Money On Useless Things

Conan’s last show was this past Friday and he thought it would be a good idea to do something to get back at NBC, by spending lots of unnecessary royalty fees on stuff that did not make sense. And let me tell you something… IT WAS AWESOME.
On Friday’s show, he had actor Tom Hanks walk out to The Beatles’ Lovely Rita (in honor of Hank’s wife, Rita Wilson) and NBC had to pay $500,000.
Not only that, prior to his last show, he also did a skit, where he dressed up a Bugatti sports car as a mouse and accompanied it by the sound of Rolling Stone song, “Satisfaction”
That bit alone cost NBC, 1.5 million.
HA HA HA HA
Smart move Conan!
For a network that royally screwed him over, he’s getting back at them by making NBC pay royalty fees. Ironic isn’t it?
We wish you the best of luck Conan, and come September, we hope you have found a home where you can entertain us every night like you did during your run on ‘The Tonight Show”
