Among all my friends and family I am known as the “crazy cat lady.” But let me explain first. It started out a year ago when a stray pregnant cat had her kittens under my house. I tried giving away the kittens but we were still left with 3. My family didn't have the heart to take them to a shelter because we knew they would be put to sleep with all of the overcrowding of animal shelters. The lesson here is: spay or neuter your cat. It is downright irresponsible not to. Sometimes your city can offer free or low cost spay/neuter programs to keep the animal population down. Well, I adore my cats and I'm not the only one.
