Cirque Du Soleil- Kooza

Do you need a little entertainment and magic in your life? If the answer is yes, this is the show for you, Cirque du Soleil- Kooza. Currently Cirque du Soleil has their massive tent set up in Santa Monica, California. “KOOZA tells the story of The Innocent, a melancholy loner in search of his place in the world.” The show is fun to watch, and you’ll be amazed more than once. The show is about 2 ½ hours long with a 30min intermission. There are 10 acts in total, which include balancing chairs, contortionists, high wire, solo trapeze, dancers, the wheel of death, and much more.
One of my favorite acts in the show were the contortionist girls, I usually get a little bored during these acts because they tend be slow, but Kooza gave it life, energy and a lot of ooh’s and ahh’s! Once you see it you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Tickets are on sale now at www.cirquedusoleil.com and the prices range from $60-$95. Personally I always like to splurge and get close seats for Cirque du Soleil shows, but because the tent is such an intimate space, you’ll pretty much get a good view wherever you sit.
Cirque du Soleil will be in Santa Monica until Nov.29th, from there the show will be in Irvine from January 8-31, followed by San Diego Feb 25-March 14. After that the show will move to Seattle and travel to other U.S. cities, so make sure you catch it!
