I absolutely love weddings, but more than that, I enjoy hearing all the stories of how people met and how they made their way down the aisle. Some people say you just know who Mr. or Mrs. Right is the moment you meet. Do you think that’s possible, that within one moment you can instantly know that this is the one person you want to spend your entire life with? For Moses and Jennifer Corona this was exactly the case.
The Corona’s first met in 8th grade and it wasn’t until high school that their relationship got closer. Jennifer says Eventually Moses went from a crush, to a friend, to boyfriend, to fiancé, to husband. This all happened off and on within a ten year span. She says they both would tell their friends they were going to marry each other but never speak of it amongst themselves.
So how did Moses propose? Moses and Jennifer spent the day together with family. They went to church, to lunch, to the park and an aunt’s house. The whole time Moses had the ring in his pocket.
After an eventful day, they went back to his house and were getting ready to watch a movie. Just then, Moses turned to Jennifer to express his love and out came the ring and he asked her to be his wife. Jennifer of course said yes! The next day he got the ring fitted and they had lunch together. When they were done, he got on one knee and asked Jennifer to marry him again and put the ring on her finger! Aw how romantic. I always wonder what the men feel right before and how we always assume that it’s an important moment for the woman, but can you imagine what was going through Moses’ mind?
The Coronas were engaged for 6 months and next week we will take a look at the big day!
