This is it, this year is your year! Tu y tu novio are ready to get on with it and make a lasting commitment. What will be the trends for this year? Should you have an exclusive gathering at the country club or a nice quaint wedding at your Tía Rosa’s rancho? Here are this year’s wedding trends to help you make the right choices.
- Couples are now opting to celebrate their big day at a nice home owned by a relative. This, not only saves on the cost but also provides a more cozy and familiar atmosphere.
- Bridesmaids in years past were all selecting the same exact dress purchased at bridal boutiques. This year the choice is to select off-the-rack dresses in the same color but various styles to suit the bridesmaids body and personal taste.
- Favors are now being homemade to give guests a piece of something personal.
- Cakes are going back to good old butter cream instead of fondant. Skilled bakers can still give you the look of fondant with butter cream for less of the costs.
- Eloping! Everyone is doing it! Less time less money, more and more couples are choosing this. They are also selecting nearby destinations for their wedding day.
