Pumpkin Rum Punch

Pumpkins are used to adorn the home for the Halloween festivities as well as for the fall harvest events. Typically, they are hollowed out and carved with faces or greetings. Then a candle or light is put inside and it can be used to let the trick-or-treaters know you are home. What else can the pumpkins be used for? Funny you might ask, pumpkins can also be hollowed out and filled with yummy ingredients to create a rum punch good for both Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Here’s what you will need:

1 hollowed out medium sized pumpkin

1 part Apple Cider

1 part Rum

2 parts Ginger Ale

Combine ingredients and pour into a hollowed out pumpkin. You can also make apple balls using a melon scooper to garnish the punch.
