Shrimp Tacos Para la Cuaresma

It’s lent ¡Amigas! What will you cook on Fridays for la familia? Shrimp Tacos! ¡Que Rico! Here’s a simple stovetop recipe, you can add any condiments you wish and serve with either corn or flour tortillas!

 

  • 1 lb Medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails removed  

  • 1/4 tsp Salt 

  • 1/2 tsp Ground pepper 

  • 1/2 tsp Garlic salt 

  • 2 tbsp Oil 

  • 1/2 Lime 

 

  1. Mix shrimp into a large bowl. Add the garlic salt, pepper, and salt. 

  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add oil.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet.

  4. Cook, until shrimp are cooked thoroughly approximately 10 minutes.
