I don’t know about you all, but I like to watch sports (especially with lots of people!). When people come together in my family to watch our Bolts play or the Lake Show, there’s always food present. A quick and easy dip everyone devours is the “Seven Layer Bean Dip”:
What you will need :
2 cups of refried beans or one 15-ounce can
1 cup of chopped lettuce
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup of sour cream or crema mexicana
1 tomato, chopped
½ a can of sliced, ripe olives
1 avocado, peeled and chopped
Begin by spreading the beans evenly on the bottom layer. Then add the sour cream or crema, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes , avacados, and olives. Its that simple !! This recipe is really fool proof, providing you have all the ingredients.
The first time I tried this I was in heaven and immediately wrote the recipe from my aunt on a napkin. Show up to the next game night with this and you will be invited everytime!
** Quick Tip if you want more of tomato taste, add a jar of salsa right after the sour cream and it will give it a great taste!
