Have you wanted to do something fun for charity but not sure where to go or what to do?  Well, mark Saturday, May 9th, 2009 on your calendar, and join the girls of “Soy Fashionista” for the fight against women’s cancer.

The Revlon Run/walk is one of the most recognized events of the summer for Women, and has grown to become one of the nation’s largest 5K fundraising events in Los Angeles and New York. This year on Saturday, May 9th 2009, they will be celebrating 16 years! It’s held at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum at Exposition Park.

The purpose: to raise awareness and funds for women's cancer research, counseling and outreach programs. Over 50,000 men, women, and children are expecting to attend.  It’s great for the whole family and it easy to do.

First, log on to www.revlonrunwalk.com and register. You have three choices. You may run the 5k or walk. If that does not interest you, volunteer. Or you can simply donate on-line and feel great about it! If you need it, here is the event HOTLINE (310) 322-3344

I highly recommend that you run or walk this event. It is an uplifting experience. You will feel so proud to be a part of it. Traditionally, every year this fundraiser is held the day before Mothers’ Day. Share this event together with the whole family; it’s the perfect gift.
