Support Diversity in Arts Education

Passionate about promoting greater diversity in arts education, Rafael Esquer, CEO of alfalfa seeds, conceived the brand as a way to help.

Part of the proceeds from alfalfa seeds T-shirts will support a design scholarship for minority students at Art Center College of Design, Esquer's alma mater. "I was able to receive a great education thanks to scholarships, so now I intend to help the next generation of talented minority students at Art Center secure their education," he explains.

Seven Sins in Three Colors

Stylish, fun, and a little devilish, Seven Deadly Sins is the first collection of seven T-shirts from alfalfa seeds. Embodied as dragon-like monsters, each of the Sins has a personality of its own. Hand-drawn, they are inspired by the style of engraver José Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913), the father of modern Mexican graphic design and a hero to designer Rafael Esquer.

Made from 100% Peruvian pima cotton, the T-shirts come in men's and women's cuts in 3 colors: black, white, and baby blue. Available only at alfalfa-seeds.com.

Cool Collaborators in Sin

Seven Deadly Sins deserve Seven Killer Interpretations. So alfalfa seeds invited seven fearless photographers to create interpretive images of its debut T-shirt collection.
