Last week, the much anticipated video de Lady GaGa y Beyonce, estreno por internet.

The video was over-hyped, over-budgeted, and left you scratching your head as to what you just witnessed.

It’s a video. It has Lady GaGa. Beyonce. What else?

Oh Yeah!

Lady GaGa in jail, showing her pussy, making out with a lesbian or man (im still confused by that), wearing diet coke cans as hair rollers, sunglasses that weren’t sunglasses & made out of cigarettes, lots of thongs, the Pussy Wagon, product placement and LOTS of it, Beyonce, Sandwiches, American Flags, Honey B, Beyonce, Bad Acting, lots of shiny art, Beyonce, Lady GaGa’s malnourished body, Beyonce, Tyrese Gibson, Beyonce, Beyonce and Beyonce.

It was a 9 minute music video que no hizo dar a entender!

With bad acting and pretty much no story to it whatsoever!

In one part, she’s in jail yet she has a cell phone? (Virgin Mobile)

Then it cuts to her getting a call from the jail! Couldn’t they just ~telephone~ her on her cell phone?

WHAT!?! THIS MAKES NO SENSE?!

I mean the song is about being in a club yet homegurl’s in jail?

Is this creativity gone wrong?

Lady GaGa released a statement (of course she would) about what the video and the inspiration was about, in it she says:

"There was this really amazing quality in 'Paparazzi,' where it kind of had this pure pop music quality but at the same time it was a commentary on fame culture. In its own way, even at certain points working with Jonas [Åkerlund, the director of both videos] really achieved this high art quality in the way that it was shot. I wanted to do the same thing with this video—take a decidedly pop song, which on the surface has a quite shallow meaning, and turn it into something deeper. There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video. I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new. His direct involvement in the video came from him lending me the Pussy Wagon. We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, 'You gotta use the Pussy Wagon.'
"

Ok all talk, but to me it seems as though she played around the question and failed to say what the “deep meaning” was?

Is it just me or is Lady GaGa just becoming a cliché in her own manifest?

Is it really shocking if she shows her pussy? Or that she makes out with a lesbian?  Or a man…(that is still debatable)

Is it really shocking if she does anything now? Or maybe that’s the point?

DAMN now she’s going to use that excuse from now on…

There was more than one theme in that video, and sadly they failed to execute it correctly.

All I saw was a bunch of product placement that made me say, “Ok I get it! They paid for your damn video!”

Que piensan?
