WHO:
Direct from the scorching desert terrain of Hermosillo Sonora Mexico COSMOPOLiTAN, comes crashing full throttle to CALIFORNIA after incredible accolades since their performances at SXSW 2009 (South By South West 2009) earlier this year. The ‘buzz’ followed with multiple performances on both sides of the border …a few months ago at House of Blues and The King, King in Hollywood.
On this California tour COSMOPOLiTAN will be performing songs from their new album titled “EP Machine” available for {physical} release in Mexico under Iguana Records/SourPop Records and in the United States & World in {digital} format under SourPop Records distributed by IODA.
“EP Machine” was recorded by Diego Solórzano (Mexican indie rock band Los Dynamite) in Mexico City, produced by Rene Zemog (SourPop Records) and Edgar Lizarraga and mastered in Quebec, Canada at Gray Market Mastering.
The album includes 5 cuts & 5 sick remixes: “Hands Stereo Disco”, “Hey C’Mon”, “Just Give Me Bichola”, “Miss HTML’ and “Don’t Stop Dancing Disco” plus remixes of “Hey C’Mon” created by renowned international DJ’s: Dan Oh (Dim Mak) from Los Angeles, Moog Conspiracy (elektrotribe / cobalt / olaris) from Berlin, Detect and Blende (Mental Groove) from France and Ryan Justin from Los Angeles.
The songs’ lyrics speak about the band’s personal take on society’s status quo that is imposed in our life styles which has made human a target of conventionalisms and stereotypes.
COSMOPOLITAN are: Edgar Lizárraga (Mr. Vox)/Ramiro Iglesias (Mr. Lee)/Abraham Bustamante (Mr. Doc).
WHAT:
