Finally, no more: “Mami, I’m bored! What can I do? Can Panchita come over?” Ya Se acabo! School is back in session, gracias a Dios. The kids are getting use to going back to the routine at home and at school, but what do you do about a child who is simply not the scholar? Well, generate a bit of a buzz by celebrating school! You might think its crazy, but it will work. Decorate the child’s room or family room in school colors. Use a window marker and write “Good Luck “on the windows. On the child’s bathroom mirror use dry erase markers and write a quote to inspire the child as they begin the day or include a message in his lunch. It can be a nice note or maybe even a joke he can share with his friends. Let the child know that you can’t wait to hear all about their day. Boost them up help feel confident about the school experience. Host a back to school pizza night with family and friends. Trust me; all the kids will look forward to the beginning of school ever year.
