Every year, the music industry never fails to give us something to remember. This year was no different. The memorable performances, the sound, style and the collaborations, come backs, (mixed with a few of remixes) are all what 2008 will be remembered for.  The count downs were huge, the top of the charts never sounded soooo fresh!

This year’s top selling album went to none other than Lil’ Wayne, for his album “The Carter III”, which sold over 1 million copied the first week. The album included such hits as: “Lollipop”, “Mrs. Officer” (feat. Bobby Valentino), and "Mr. Carter”, featuring the other Carter who did it HUGE this year, Jay-Z. (Who I personally saw in concert earlier this year with Mary J & they put on an AMAZING show!) The collabo’s where hot and it seemed like all the hits consisted of 2, maybe even a few more of our favorites!! According to VH1.com, the top 10 Collaborations went as followed:

  1. No Air-Jordan Sparks & Chris Brown.
  2. 4 Minutes- Madonna & Timberland.
  3. If I Never See Your Face Again- Maroon 5 & Rihanna.
  4. Love LikeThis- Natasha Bedingfield & Sean Kingston.
  5. Single- New Kids on the Block & Ne-Yo
  6. American Boy- Estelle & Kanye West
  7. Kiss Kiss- Chris Brown & T. Pain.
  8. Scream- Timbaland, Keri Hilson & Nicole Scherzinger
  9. Apologize- One Republic & Timbaland.
  10. Hate That I Love You- Rihanna & Ne-Yo.
