Performances by the legendary LA INTERNACIONAL SONORA SHOW, celebrating their 16th anniversary and representing the new generation of Cumbia sounds SONOCLIP showcasing their rich fusion of tropical rhythms from Venezuela, Colombia & Puerto Rico

Plus special guest host Jessie Camacho from popular Telemundo show ‘Descontrol’.

“Descarga” kicks off Sunday July 12^th  with a dose of high energy Cumbia rhythms with performances by the renowned La Internacional Sonora Show offering their legendary ‘sabor’ and Sonoclip representing a unique fusion of tropical rhythms hailing from Venezuela, Colombia and Puerto Rico.

Celebrating their 16th anniversary, featuring a discography of more than 16 albums, La Internacional Sonora Show will definitely get us dancing to the rhythm of Cumbia, Salsa, Vallenato and Merengue.

Their popularity extends around the world. They have performed in some of the best stages in North & South America, while their songs have scored top tier positions on Billboard magazine’s music charts i.e. the hit song “Escandalo” as well as over 60 classic songs to their credit. Today, La Internacional Sonora Show is led by Kiko Vargas Jr., who continues with the musical legacy after the untimely death of his father in 2004.

Now in its 3^rd consecutive year “Descarga” has solidified its status as one of the leading outdoor free music events in Southern California, drawing over 70,000 fans by showcasing international, national, and emerging talent as well as  DJs performances on an outdoor stage in CityWalk. Since its inception in 2007, “Descarga” continues to build on its overwhelming success delivering on its mission to provide Latino artists and audiences with the best in quality entertainment with a phenomenal promotional platform, becoming 'the must play concert series' for Latino artists touring in Southern California.
