Diary of a New Moon Fanatic

I feel like I am standing in front of a room full of other nervous, but excited adults with my sweaty hands on the podium as I say, “Hi, my name is Cecy and I am a Twilight Fan.  Yes, I AM, there I said it”.  They all cheer me on as we anxiously look over to make sure the window coverings are tightly shut.

Okay, maybe it is not that bad, but when I consider my carpool members for the New Moon opening on November 20th, I feel old, out of place.  I am the oldest in a group of twelve; the average age is 16.

¡Ay, Dios mio!  Have you read the books?  They are awesome!  I am so excited to see the movie.  ¡En serio!  If I carried around a folder or a binder, it would definitely have the picture of Bella and Edward.

Anyway, so back to the movie, it is turning out to be one of the most highly anticipated openings in a long time. And, believe me, I was one of the troopers that called in sick to go watch Star Wars on opening day, but this is SO MUCH BIGGER!  The commercials just barely made it on television, yet I already have my movie ticket in hand.  Can you tell I’m excited? ¡Ya cálmate!

So, for sure I’ll write about my experience at the midnight showing and I’ll try to keep my inner teenager in control while I do so… GO TEAM EDWARD!
