"Cause I’m Tigre-licious…?"

Many of you probably grew up like me, listening to the music your parents insisted on bumping. Hey, at a young age, you don’t really have much of a choice, do you? However, there comes a day and time where you gotta reluctantly admit that you kinda dig the stuff your folks turned you on to. I grew up listening to everything from Credence Clearwater Revival (why is it that all Mexicans love CCR?!) to Juan Gabriel (whom I love more than is considered to be healthy), to the Rolling Stones and I will gladly admit that I STILL love Los Tigres del Norte.
Not only do I love their catchy, danceable (and often heartfelt and poignantly touching) music, I also love what they have achieved as a couple of hermanos pobres/hijos del barrio de Mexico. They have enough money to have their own private jet (painted with tigers on the outside, of course), but they never cease to amaze me in their generosity. I’m going to school you all on their contributions to the Latino communities (yes, communities!) later on, but as for now, I want to bring up what sounded like a BEYOND crazy rumor.
Ok, here you go: I heard that Miss Fergielicious herself:
Wants to do a song with Los Tigres:
Ok, wha…?! I quickly dismissed it as one of the oddest rumors I ever heard. Then, I watched an interview with Los Tigres where they were asked about it. Turns out, IT’S TRUE!! Los Tigres confirmed it themselves that they were approached by Fergie’s camp about a collabo! Are you all as shocked as I am or am I the only one trippin’? Are you as interested in hearing what it would sound like as I am? Would Fergie Ferg sing in Espanol? Would Los Tigres suddenly become Tigrelicious? Ay, tantas preguntas! What do you all have to say about this? Get at me!
