Nike ID: You Design it, Nike Builds It!

Recently Nike gave me the chance to design my own sneakers through NikeID.com . Nike ID wants you to make a statement with your favorite colors, and materials that fit your personal ID style. They make it super easy to customize your sneakers, and if you can’t make it to their design studios, you’re able to do it on their website www.NikeID.com . What’s great is that no one will have your sneakers, they are personalized for you and on one else, and they let you name your sneakers whatever you want, I named mine “The Soy Fashionista” sneaker. I picked my favorite colors: Lavender, light grey, and a cool silver Nike swoosh!
How to customize you sneaker:
- Select your material
- You choose your favorite colors ( You can have as many colors as you want)
- Then you add your personal ID
Then you customize your personal performance:
- You choose whether you want a wide or narrow shoe
- Pick your outsoles
- They have sizing up to (14+)
- Also small sizing down to (4)
When you check out their website, also check out how you can design your clothing, and even have your equipment to match your school or team colors. Once you’re done designing, it takes about 4 weeks for them to be delivered. As soon as I get mine in the mail, I will post my picture for you to see.
Oh by the way! NIKE created a iPhone App. where you can design your shoes, check this commercial that shows you how!
