New Dove Go Fresh Burst Body Wash

The wonderful people at Dove kindly sent us some samples of their latest refreshing soap and body wash:New Dove Go Fresh Burst Body Wash Nectarine and White Ginger. They wanted to us to try it out and gauge our honest opinions in regards to their latest confection, which is sure to be perfect for summer. Here’s what the girls of SOY thought:

I’ve always been a huge fan of Dove products. If it’s not the body bars, it’s the face wash that I’m using, so I was excited to get the chance to try out their new Nectarine and White Ginger Body Wash. The scent is insane since the combination of the nectarine & white ginger makes your mouth water, and makes you skin feel so soft. I think it’s perfect to use for the coming summer, since it leaves you feeling fresh and so squeaky clean. This is one of my favorites so far, so go out and try it, ladies…it’s going to be a yummy experience!

I was really excited to try Dove’s refreshing new soap in Nectarine and White Ginger since I love the smell of peaches and nectarines. Once I excitedly ripped open the box and lathered up, I was a little disappointed when I realized that it didn’t smell the way I hoped. It smelled a little too citrusy for my taste (I really hate the smell of grapefruit, for instance). It got the job done and left me nice and clean, but I wasn’t too fond of the scent. I know that there are girls out there that love anything citrus-related. For those lovely girls, this soap is definitely for you!

I went back for seconds
This body wash is so amazing I went back for seconds. Yup you heard me right, seconds! The friendly people at Dove sent the Soy girls full-sized samples of Dove’s beauty body wash in their latest scent, “Nectarine and White Ginger.” Some of the girls received bar soaps but I opted for the body wash and this is what I love about Dove: they do not play around when it comes to quantity. The body wash is 24-fluid ounces! I remember when I used to spend $10 for those 12-ounce body washes at the mall. No more! The scent has a sweet nectarine smell; it’s exactly how you want to smell right before a date.

As far as beauty bar soaps goes, this one is awesome! I am normally a body wash girl, as beauty bars usually make me think of my mom's viejita smelling soap. But with Dove's new GO Fresh Burst beauty bar, I truly feel I can put those memories behind me. This bar smells great! Very fresh! And it didn't fail me in the moisturizing department; my skin felt soft and hydrated after my shower. Chicas, I recommend this beauty bar. Dove put the beauty back in the bar!

Dove's Go Fresh Nectarine and White Ginger bar left me hydrated and moisturized right after I used it. I typlically don’t use bar soap because they tend to dry me out, but this soap left my skin feeling fresh. Although the scent was nice, it didn’t last very long.
