Making Our Way Through Macy’s

Making Our Way Through Macy’s

After we had lunch at “El Segundo Sol”, a Mexican restaurant inside Las Vegas’ Fashion Mall, we were taken through the length of the mall until we reached the always classic staple, Macy’s. While we were there, we were shown some of the inner workings of the company and how they prepare for their famous Fashion Shows. Unfortunately, there was no Fashion Show that day, so we were all disappointed, especially after hearing so many cool things about it.

As we walked through the store, we met with a variety of the employees that gave us a little insight as to some of their products. The Michael Kors section was a hit with the Latina Bloggers because we got to see some gorgeous leather pieces up close, as well as some beautiful watches. We were all lusting after the buttery, leather bags and know that we were coveting at least a few of the totes and wallets, as well. As we continued walking through Macy’s, we saw some of the outfits the girls had worn to dinner before! Obviously, Latina Bloggers have great taste!

Although our tour seemed a bit rushed, I still kept sneaking away to pick out things for some of the girls that I felt they would look amazing on them. One of the girls had been complaining that she wasn’t sure how to pair certain things together, so we definitely bonded  as we picked out some stuff she would look drop-dead gorgeous in. The good thing about Macy’s is that there is something for everyone, no matter your age, shape or style.

I was a bot disappointed with the tour because there were a couple of things I think the girls and I really wanted to see, but did not get a chance to. I’m just glad I got to see the famous Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s line. He is an idol and inspiration, so I have to revere his lines every chance I get!
