Drop that Juice!

We all know that too much soda is bad for us; it has caffeine and it's packed with sugar. One can of soda (12 oz.) can pack as many as 150 calories and 12 teaspoons of sugar. As an alternative we might decide to drink fruit juices. However, this option is not always the healthiest and if you're on a diet it won't help trim down the waist. When choosing a substitute, make sure you avoid anything that is labeled "juice cocktail" or "fruit drink” because they contain little natural juice and a whole lot of added sugar. Here is a list of popular juice choices and their calorie content (8oz. serving):
-
Apple 117
-
Cranberry 116
-
Orange 110
-
Pineapple 133
-
Pomegranate 160
