Problem:

You have 200+ family members and you are planning a wedding.  All of your tíos and tías are ready for the pachanga, but you only have enough money for about 50 of those family members.  What do you do?

Solution:

Don’ t tell them you heard it from me, but try a destination wedding.  You can still invite everybody, but most of your familia won’t be able to attend.  I know that sounds mean, but dang, weddings are expensive.

Imagine, you, your fiancé and a few of your closest relatives in a beach setting somewhere in Hawaii.  Let’s face it, we have BIG families and they all want to go to your wedding, but you have to think about you and you!  Times are tough.  Latinos have always rode the financial crisis wave in stride, but let’s face it even with the financial crisis and with all of these wedding shows out there showing funky looking weddings (you know you watch ‘em), who wants to have a funky, cheap wedding?  ¡Yo no!

You can still enjoy the perks of a wedding with your family, the bachelorette parties and the bridal showers.  YAY!

Jamaica, Bermuda, Caribbean, Bahamas, Hawaii, Australia, Fiji, Mexico or even closer to home at your closest beach resort are all great destination wedding locations.  Stay tuned for future detailed information regarding these destination weddings.

Cecillia you are absolutely right! we help lots of brides with destination weddings in Turks and Caicos Islands in the Carribean and they ALL say they want to get away from 200,300 people weddings and have just a small, intimate group on a gorgeous white sand beach !
We are biased, we know - but we LOVE destination weddings.
