Sims 3 Coming to Xbox & Playstation

There was so much to see and experience at E3 that I had to write a little
continuation piece. I especially wanted to feature one of my top pick games for E3- The
Sims 3. But there’s a new spin, it’s now coming to console, on Xbox360 and Play Station.
The Sims game has been around for a long time, but it’s always been limited to just the
PC. While I always wanted to try the game, I never really got into it because I don’t like
playing games on my computer, other than solitaire and a little War Craft, I’m just not a
PC game person. Thankfully, EA games came up with the brilliant idea of finally
bringing it to console.
I actually had the opportunity to take a sneak peak of the demo coming out on
Xbox360. The new game will have extra features and allow for more creativity. For
example “Karma Powers” can be utilized to directly affect your Sim’s well being, which
can include “getting lucky” and even bringing misfortune and embarrassment to other
Sims. At one point during the demo, one of the Sims used his Karma power to cause
another Sim to have major gas problems in front of the ladies. In addition, Sims
characters will have the ability to interact and change their environment and even get a
job. The game is scheduled to be released in October of 2010.
