On September 29th, Ghostface Killah released his eighth album. This album, he described as being more R&B inspired than the others, sounding a lot like the work he’s done with both Ne-Yo and Jodeci.

The album features John Legend, Fabolous, Adrienne Bailon, Lloyd, Estelle and a bonus track, “Back Like That”, with both Kanye and Ne-Yo.

This album, I think, opened up a new door and took his sound to a new level. I really liked his colabo with Adrienne Bailon on “I’ll Be That” as well as “Let’s Stop Playing” in which he collaborated with John Legend. “Not Your Average Girl” featuring Shareefa is also a great track, and I have always liked the bonus track, “Back Like That”.

This album is definitely worth checking out and if you have always been a Ghostface fan, you’ll appreciate the new tone he has taken.
