A&M Entertainment (www.artandmusic.bz), the independently owned multi-media event planning company that has been producing and promoting events since 2003, will host its second annual "Women that Rock" showcase on Saturday, December 5, 2009 with a stellar line up of female-led bands. In keeping with effort of supporting the local and underground world of music, A&M Entertainment’s Women that Rock event will take place in Highland Park’s “Juanitas Restaurant” and will feature:
- Fully stocked bar, smoking patio
- FREE mini Tequila 55 bottles courtesy of Breakaway Spirits Inc., Plus raffling a BIG bottle of tequila!
- FREE swag bags courtesy of Pinky Star for the first 50 ladies to arrive

Art & Photo displays by Wendy Alarcon & Dan R Photography, Jewelry vendors and Dj's spinning the best of Aterciopelados, Julieta Venegas, Janis Joplin, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac & more!
Celebrating these talented women and female-led bands simultaneously acknowledges their hard work and encourages adolescent females to reach for their dreams as well. In an environment that welcomes all, men and women can network with one another and build fruitful and professional relationships in a lively and music-driven atmosphere.
-Los Hollywood- San Diego’s rockin’ trio led by singer Heidy’s powerful and sultry vocals.
-Salt Petal- LA based indie-folk band that with trumpet, piccolo and Spanish guitar at hand concocts world music deriving from their Gipsy Kings, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Beatles influences.
-Hear Kitty Kitty- Los Angeles’ Punk rock quartet take their AC/DC and Joan Jett influences and riff out catchy power pop tunes the way this little kitty can only do.
Empty Seat- Led by the Janis Joplin-esque vocals of front woman, Red, Empty Seat sets itself a part and lures audiences in from coast to coast.
