Will Smith has been one of my favorites since the 90’s, when he was picking on Carlton, making Uncle Phil mad, or and hanging out with his friend Jazz on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. In his films, he’s shown how well he can act, and they show how well into character he becomes. “7 Pounds”, is no different. I really enjoyed this one. After watching it, and tearing up in different scenes, it left me very pensive about the things we may often take for granted: like the fact that we can see, or that our heart is strong enough to laugh as hard as we please, or take that jog or run. I won’t ruin it, but you gotta see it! Will Smith has a secret, and as the plot line unwinds, the viewers discover that he is trying to change the life of 7 people by giving them a gift or giving them a chance to live. From the makers of “The Pursuit of Happyness”, this movie also stars Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, and Michael Ealy. Ya’ll have to watch it!
