Dear Christy,

I am making arrangements for my son’s baptism, but am not quite sure what type of celebration I should have.

Dear Mommy Santisima,

Cuidado ! don’t book the banda just yet . El Bautismo is a very special Sacrament to Catholics. Although there is a big debate over  the celebrations some choose to have, I understand that it is important to you and your family. I think its essential that you keep in mind the significance of the event and just keep things very intimate and simple. The baby will not remember a thing. In my opinion a bowl of menudo and the company of family is ideal :)

My daughter is turning tweleve and wants to have a slumber party but I don’t know what im gonna do with a bunch of pre-teens running around all night!

Dear Frantic,

RELAX ! Do not fear the twleve year olds. Simplemente sit down with your daughter and maybe one of her closest friends and ask them what they have in mind. Es obio that all of her requests will not be met  (and perhaps most of them will be modified), but at least you have some direction! Run with that and make sure all the rules are made clear to your Hannah Montana and friends prior to the sleepover.  Suerte!
