How many times have you been stuck at home, bored and broke? Want a couple of options to pamper yourself on a budget? Read on!

Deep Conditioning Treatment

  1. Saturate your dry, damaged hair with olive oil.
  2. Heat up two wet, wrung out towels in the microwave for about 2 minutes.
  3. Cover your head with a plastic bag and cover the bag with the warm towels.
  4. Catch up on your texting or novela watching for about 30 minutes while your treatment gets to work.
  5. Hop in the shower and  remove the oil with two-three good washings and a cold water rinse.
 

Oily Hair Helper

  1. Boil 1 quart of water with 4 teaspoons spearmint leaves (A lot of your know spearmint as yerba buena ).
  2. Cool and apply as a hair rinse after your shampoo.
 

Natural Highlighter

Blondes/Gueritas: In order to bring out natural highlights in your hair, rinse with water and a few tablespoons lemon juice.

Brunettes/Redheads:Rinse with water and several tablespoons apple cider vinegar to naturally enhance red tones

Pore Cleaner

  1. Pour a can of tomato paste into a bowl.
  2. Heat for about 40 seconds, or until lukewarm.
  3. Spread on your face, let stand for about seven minutes.
  4. Wash off and bask in the glow of your newly clean and tightened pores.
