Fave Outfit as a kid

Hola, amigas! So, my wonderful friend and I were talking about how badly she was trying to track down a pair of sneakers she used to proudly rock when she was just a wee youngin'; a pair of Nike Cortez's in a delicious baby pink shade with white swooshes. Coincidently I owned the exact same pair! Great minds definitely think alike, right? She's convinced that they would look just as awesome on her now, which led us to reminisce about the outfits we used to rock back in the day (and I mean BACK in the day) and how happy they made us. I remember kickin' it on the swing set with my awesome pink corduroys and my fabulous pink Cortez's. The pink stripes on my long sleeved polo matched everything else perfectly. Trust, as a kid, no one in the world could tell me that that wasn't the flyest outfit EVER. Especially since my mom had the audacity to dress me like a cupcake every chance she got. Ladies, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. The whole poufy dress, ruffled socks, patent leather Mary Janes and even the matching lace gloves and gag-inducing hat made their way onto my little body every single Sunday. Therefore, you can see why I would so cherish rockin' my cords and kicks and being able to run around and get covered in mud and paleta juice. So, mija, I want to hear from you. What was your favorite outfit as a kid? The one that reminds you of running around with your cousins or chasing down the street after the elotero. The one that reminds you of going to your madrina's house and getting spoiled with candy and getting away with it.
