Clarins Para Tu Carita

Famed European cosmetics powerhouse, Clarins, offers the latest product that I recently added to my morning routine. Their Super Restorative Wake-Up Lotion is a light “toner” that helps minimize dark spots and fine lines. The only reason I put toner in quotation marks is because I’m used to toner having a more liquid-y consistency, while this product feels more like a serum or light gel. If used properly, skin is supposed to appear more vibrant y radiante. I’ve been using it every morning for a bit and feel confident enough to venture outside without any make-up on. The only gripe I have with it is that it doesn’t feel as if though it hydrates my skin enough (I have combination skin, but parts of it are awfully dry).
One thing I really like about it is that because it’s non-comedogenic, it won’t clog your pores, which is especially prone to happen right now with the hot weather y constant sudor. I’m also a sucker for pretty packaging and the red bottle offers up a minimalist sexiness that you’ll be reminded of every time you glance at it. At $40.00/ per bottle, it may seem a little steep for your pocketbook right about now, but I think this product is great for those who don’t like to feel like they have anything on their caritas.
P.S. I’m also trying out their Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate, but I haven’t been using it long enough to give you guys a fair review. I’ll let you know how it’s working!
