Chicharrones con salsa verde

Unos taquitos de chicharrones con salsa verde, ¡delicioso! But making pork rinds takes forever! There is a way, however, that you can have you chicharrones without having to spend the entire nighten la cocina. Here is a recipe for chicharrones using store bought pork rinds. ¡Buena Suerte!

  • 1 8oz package of Fried Rinds
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 2 Jalapenos
  • 1 Teaspoon oregano
  • 2 Teaspoons of salt
  • Pinch of Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of canola oil

  1. Soak pork rinds in warm water for about 30 minutes, until they soften.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Using a comal roast the tomatoes and jalapeños until skin looks toasty.
  4. Peel skin and combine tomatoes, jalapeños, salt, pepper and oregano in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  5. In a medium pan combine pork rinds, and mixture. Add 1/2 cup of water to blender to loosen remaining salsa and pour in pan. Simmer and serve.

Enjoy!
