Dear Christy ,
My daughter is turning one and I’d like to host a tea party, but I need some ideas on what can I do.

Dear Mommy,
A Tea Party! How darling! There are plenty of ways to make this a fun day, while also keeping your one- year old involved:
1.Make sure you have hats in all colors and sizes. Either ask your guest to come with them on or provide them. As an activity, have guests decorate plain hats to their liking.
2. Gloves are necessary at a tea party! They can be purchased at dollar stores. You can add bows and embellishments to personalize .
3. Also purchase scarves or boas. These can also be found at dollars stores .
4. Tea sets – You can borrow or buy. Tea cups can also be personalized with markers with your guests’ names.
5. Set up a sweets table and instead of a cake, make indivicual cupcakes. Also have cookies made in the shape of teapots .
6. Print menus on colored cardstock with a ribbon tied around it to be set at each place setting.
7. Use plenty of fresh flowers in various vases setup on all tables
Hope these ideas can help get you started in the right direction.
