After his unexpected death in August, Michael Jackson was the subject of conversation everywhere we turned. Every newspaper, magazine and website contained his pictures and story. Every radio station and club played his hits. All around the world, the death of the biggest pop star in the world was mourned. Millions of fans paid tribute in their own way and even went as far as making bids on eBay for a chance to attend a special memorial for him at Los Angeles's Staples Center.
MJ left behind his scheduled tour as well as the release of a new album, leaving us only to wonder how much more he could have blessed us, his fans, with. Wondering how much more he could have contributed to the music industry, because let’s face it; there will never ever be another KING.
This Monday, October 12th his exclusive single, “This Is It” is set to be released, and will be available to download. The album, This is It will be out October 27th, one day before the movie of the same name will be in theatres. The album was inspired by the movie and contains some of his greatest hits. Both of these works are much anticipated that fans everywhere are pre-buying the album and tickets to the movie.
I know I can’t wait for insight of the legend’s last pieces of work and to see footage of what could’ve been one of the best come-back tours ever.
