Sit Boo Boo, Sit!

I seems like most mujeres refer to men as Perros, but why must we speak ill about our favorite pet?!
If we have no other choice but to compare men to dogs, then maybe that’s what it takes to train men to remain loyally by our side! Just like dogs, men need structure. When making your point to a dog, you don’t go off rambling into too many directions, because that only causes confusion and loss of interest, which in part makes you feel like he doesn’t care. Same goes with men. They have short attention-spans and lose interest fast. So, be clear and straight to the point.
When talking to your him make eye contact! This draws his attention, and makes him understand you need to be heard. Same goes for you, the trainer! Men, just like dogs, have something to say or (bark), too! So, don’t let it be all about you; let him speak and communicate. Communicating helps build trust between the both of you.
To prevent your dog from straying away from home, it’s important to keep him stimulated. What they look for are: happiness, being safe, and comfortable. Dogs get bored and start looking to mark their territory on someone else’s yard. To keep him on your yard, never leave him unattended for long periods of time, and don’t have him on a short leash, because he’ll feel tied down and will feel the need to break free.
When your dog behaves badly, (like chewing your up your shoes or forgets to call you), you don’t want to go crazy blowing up on him. What you’re creating is having him fear you…although we would love for them to fear us, it’s not healthy and it’s not the right way to go about it. When they mess up, stay calm, firm with your words, and tell them, (not scream) what you didn’t like, so they get the idea that you mean business.
Happy Training!
