Why not make invitations people can keep rather than something they will just toss in the trash? I took an Ultrasound photo and turned it into an invitation. Here’s how:

What you will need:

Baby Blue Vellum paper (4 x 4)
Baby Blue Cardstock (5 x 5)
Chocolate Brown Cardstock ( 6 x 6)
Ribbon with coordinating colors
Hole puncher
Paper cutter
Roll on adhesive
Computer/printer

1.Scan and crop the photo to size, depending on how big you want the invitation to be. Make sure when the photo is scanned that it can be resized without distorting the image.

2.Gather all the information (date, time, location, etc.), and format on the computer.

3.Print on blue cardstock.

4.Glue the blue cardstock on the chocolate cardstock and leave a half inch border around the edge, so that you are able to see it once the blue cardstock is glued.

5.Using the baby blue vellum, print the photo image.

6.Glue the vellum onto the blue cardstock.

7.Punch two small holes at the top and tie the ribbon in a bow through the holes.

8.Viola! A beautiful invitation with your baby’s ultrasound photo that family can keep forever!
