I absolutely love buying scented candles from Wal-Mart. They come in glass jars with lids and smell great! But, what do I do when the candle has burned out and I’m left with the glass jar? I figured out how I could reuse them around the house!

Often times, I purchase spices in packets for my cooking needs. After I open them, I have to put them in a resealable Ziploc bag, in hopes that they remain at least somewhat fresh. This jar will help keep the spices fresh and will look a lot better on the spice rack than a baggie would.

What you will need:

1 small candle jar with lid
Spices Label
Ribbon Glue Gun

1.Use a butter knife to scrap excess wax from the candle jar.

2.Soak in warm to hot water to get rid of any residue.

3.Remove the label at this time (the heat from the water makes the adhesive in the

4.label easier to remove).

5.Print a new label and place label on jar.

6.Pour contents of spice bag into the jar.

7.Tie the ribbon around the neck of the jar.

8.Viola! You now have an instant spice jar from a recycled candle container!
